WillMaker Online & Download

For over 30 years, Nolo’s WillMaker has been software that you download and install on your computer. Now, you can choose whether to make your estate plan online or with software on your personal computer.

When you purchase WillMaker & Trust on www.willmaker.com, you get a WillMaker account and access to your customer portal. In the portal, you can make your estate planning documents and find answers to your legal and technical questions.

If you purchase the Plus or All-Access bundles, you can also download the traditional software version of Quicken WillMaker. The two platforms offer nearly identical documents, interviews, instructions, and support, but there are some notable differences.

Online:

  • Includes all of WillMaker’s most essential forms
  • No download needed
  • Make your forms on any device
  • Requires internet access
  • Make and revise documents for one year from your date of purchase.

Download:

  • Includes all online WillMaker documents, plus several documents for executors
  • Installs on your computer
  • Requires internet access only for the initial download and for subsequent updates
  • Provides indefinite access to the software, with legal and technical updates through the end of the version year (that is, WillMaker 2025 receives updates through 2025)

Compare the online and download versions of WillMaker.

Important note: While documents are identical in both products, you can not move a document (or its data) from one platform to the other.

With WillMaker, you can make documents for yourself and your immediate family. Estate planning documents are not valid in Louisiana, the U.S. Territories, or Canada.
